AO入試について

AO入試とは？AO入試では従来の一斉試験は行わず、個人の学力や特技、熱意などを総合的に評価します。
　具体的には、書類選考や面接などで入学を審査されます。
このAO入試制度は、個々の候補者の長所やポテンシャルをより公平に評価し、多様なバックグラウンドを持つ人々にチャンスを持ってもらうことを目的としています。

応募資格

• 本校が実施するオープンキャンパスまたは学校見学に参加することが条件です。
  遠隔地から入学希望の方（事前に学校見学が困難な場合）は相談してください
• 専願希望の者（合格後は入学することが条件です）
• 高等学校卒業（卒業見込みを含む）以上、もしくは同等以上の学力があると認められた者
  （ただし入学年の4月1日までに18歳以上の年齢に達する者）

応募方法

AO入試の希望者はエントリーシートを事前に提出していただきます。
面談を通して入学の意思と受験生の個性や適性などを確認させていただきます。

手続き：入国管理局において在留資格（留学）を取得するか、在留期間などに変更があれば申請する必要があります。

[AO入試とは？] What Is "the AO Method of Selecting Applicants for Admission"?

 In the "AO (Admissions Office) Selection of Applicants for Admission" the usual "entrance examination" is replaced by a general appraisal of the applicant's academic performance, extra-curricular activities, degree of seriousness in wishing to learn at this school, and so on.
 To put it concretely, the Admissions Office will examine and evaluate the submitted documents and papers, as well as what is stated at the interview.
 This "AO Selection of Applicants for Admission" has been adopted by this school in order to appreciate the applicant's personal merits and potential abilities and to offer a chance to better himself/herself to people with various educational as well as socio-cultural backgrounds.

[応募資格] Requirements to Be Qualified to Take the AO Method in Place of the Entrance Examination

• The applicant who plans to take this AO Method must attend the Explanatory Meeting on the School and Curriculum or the School Tour at least once, the schedule of which is shown below. If you live in a remote place and it is very difficult for you to come and attend the meeting, please contact us.
• When accepted, the applicant must enter this school. If you are applying for other schools also, you should take the usual Entrance Examination for this school, not the AO Method.
• The applicant must be a high-school graduate or is expected to graduate high school by the end of March, 2024. If not, the applicant is required to demonstrate that he/she has the equivalent knowledge and ability to the high-school graduate.
• The applicant must be 18 years old or older by April 1st in the year of admission.

 The applicant for the AO Method is required to submit the Entry Sheet prior to the scheduled interview.
At the interview we will evaluate the applicant's seriousness in wishing to learn at this school, personal strong points, aptitude for the skills taught at this school the Date of Interview.

 The interview will be scheduled on the day when the applicant attends the Explanatory Meeting of the School and Curriculum. It can be changed upon request.

[面談]  Interview

 At the interview we will also appraise the level of the applicant's proficiency in Japanese.

[出願書類]  Documents Necessary for the Application.

• Application Form for Admission.
• The foreign applicant is required to submit the graduation certificate of the last educational institute he/she attended in his/her country.
• Certificate of Attendance/Certificate of the Completion of a Course from the language school or professional training school which the applicant attended in Japan.

[合格後]  When You Are Admitted

 You must have a student visa. If you don't have it, apply for it at the Immigration Office;
if you do but it will expire soon, apply for the extension of the period of stay.
